In Alfred Hitchcock’s horror classic Psycho, Norman Bates murdered his mother and her lover and kept their corpses in their attic. You wouldn’t believe that a similar incident from that movie happened in real life, when a mother stored his dead son’s corpse in their attic bedroom for eight years!
The police found his decomposing body when the mother was hospitalized after a fall. A relative went to their home to get some of her belongings when she discovered the corpse in the bedroom. The relative immediately informed the cops.
The elderly mother stored his corpse in their home located in a neighborhood in Midwood, Brooklyn New York.
The man was a former cab driver in his mid-50’s. According to relatives, they haven’t seen the man for almost 20 years. In fact, his Brown Ford Explorer had been left unmoved in the drive for years.
The iconic horror shot from Hitchcock’s Psycho.
Neighbors describe the elderly woman as a recluse. According to a neighbor, “She never said hello. She always walking down the street with a grocery bag. She would walk looking down. Something about her always seemed a little weird.”
The man’s cause of death has yet to be determined by the city’s medical examiner. — via Mirror
