Images of a massive frog caught by hunter in a pond on a ranch near Batesville, Texas has been making craze on the internet.

The shocking picture of the giant bullfrog the size of a dog has made people speculate of its authencity as the size of the amphibian could be exaggerated by an optical illusion.
Hunter Markcuz Rangel posted the photo of “Frogzilla” with holding a rifle and the monstrous amphibian at the South Texas Hunting Association Facebook page.
The image looks like the frog weighing 13 pounds had been shot and killed by the hunter in a pond on a ranch near Batesville, Texas.
Texas Parks & Wildlife Department spokesperson told the Houston Chronicle that the image has not been photoshopped – but it is a little misleading.
But despite the “confirmation” of Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, netizens were not amused and believed its manipulated with one commenting, “It’s not as bigly as it appears,” Steve Lightfoot said.
Other said, “It’s an optical illusion created by extending the frog toward the camera – similar to what you see with fishermen holding up fish to make them appear larger.
He added: “Still a big bullfrog, though.”
Meanwhile, the largest frog on Earth is the Goliath frog, a 12.6-inch-long frog found in a relatively small area around Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea that can weigh up to 3.25 kilograms.
While the American bullfrogs, typically grow as big as 6 inches in length and weigh 0.6 kilograms.
