Mo Devlin started interest in photography when he joined the U.S. Army as a photo journalist in 1973. Since then everything is history when it comes to his photography. In his “Frozen Flowers” project, he explained that “You have to be part photographer, part chemist and also a bit of florist.” He also said that “Everytime I take a container out of the freezer I hold my breath and cross my fingers hoping that the flower froze just right, giving me something a little special.” And “The actual taking of the pictures becomes secondary…it’s all about the frozen flower.”

By the way his love of photography is only rivaled by his passion for the aquarium hobby!

The result of his “Frozen Flowers” is simply exquisite!.
